Just created a new project using reddit user template. EPF downloaded gifs as .mp4.gif & I can't open the file unless I change it to just .mp4.

Also, reddit templates won't download imgur .gifv links.

Can you provide sample URLs please?

the user I'm trying to download is https://www.reddit.com/user/flatlacroix2
an example gif link https://www.reddit.com/user/flatlacroix ... h_tonight/ will pull from https://preview.redd.it/9wsiak4jzjc81.g ... b279374d86 and download the .mp4 but title it 9wsiak4jzjc81.mp4.gif rather than pull from https://i.redd.it/9wsiak4jzjc81.gif

for .gifv if you try looking at https://www.reddit.com/r/CasualJiggles/ you'll see a bunch of i.imgur.com/xxxxx.gifv links are skipped. I also just noticed a couple of imgur.com/xxxxx links get skipped as well.

OK, I updated sub-reddit and user templates:

reddit.com - user template

www.reddit.com - download subreddit images

.gifv files are downloaded and saved as .mp4 now.

You can try all of the above now.

Also a bug in file naming was fixed so in the next release there will be no ".mp4.gif" files.

updated EPF to 3.59.2 and reddit subreddit template to v20 and user template to v8

Also imgur.com/xxxxx links should be processed properly with the updated templates.

That's going to work properly only starting with 3.59.3. It'll be released next week most likely.

Okay, cool. A little off topic, but do I still need to re-do the project (delete old project, then create new project) if the templates been updated? There was mention about trying to not have to do that but I didn't see anything in the version changelogs.

It's not implemented yet, so you do have to create a new project with the new version of template.

OK, now the "mp4.gif" problem should be solved - please download and install version 3.59.3:
