I need help in setting up the correct settings for downloading images from this site: http://gelbooru.com/index.php?page=post&s=list&tags=all
But I don't want to down load images from "list&tags=" but rather from "view&id=(numbers)" because it would be exceptionally faster i believe.
If i leave the starting address at http://gelbooru.com/index.php?page=post&s=list&tags=all it downloads but it gets stuck and repeats tags at the end of the url searches. (ex: http://gelbooru.com/index.php?page=post ... oy+boy+boy). Is there a way to have EPF download through the id numbers only and not wander to other parts of the site?
Any suggestions on downloading the images within this website at the highest resolution possible?
image file types on this site are .jpeg .pgn . gif .
also is it possible to have EPF not download "sample" images. its not thumbnails but are apart of the image names where there would be two copies (ex: "sample_as24sd8j3" &" as24sd8j3" image names)?

OK, here are the settings:
Starting address: http://gelbooru.com/index.php?page=post&s=list&tags=all
Target files:
*.jp*
*.gif
*.png
Site Exploration -> Regular site: Follow all links
Save -> Conflicts: Do not download and save if file size is the same
Filters -> Excluded URLs:
.*
Filters -> Included URLs:
page=post&s=list&tags=all&pid=\d+
page=post&s=view&id=
/images/
That's it. So, usually, when I need to save files from only a part of a website, or only specific files or URLs - I exclude everything with .* and then add parts of URLs that are 100% required to get the necessary files.

Re: Problem in Downloading Images on this Site
I recently just tried your settings, but when using that setting on EPF, the program stopped downloading after 8 images on the first page of http://gelbooru.com/index.php?page=post&s=list&tags=all and did not download all images. I inserted all setting correctly. Is there a problem with the settings?

Do you have the most recent version of the program? 3.20.1?

OK, I've found a problem in the program code. It's in the page parser. Tomorrow I'll upload a new version which will work with this site.

Re: Problem in Downloading Images on this Site
also do you think theres a possibility to have a program inside EPF that will only view url numbers in order instead of searching through the whole site? (ex: program will change and view id=1 to id=2000000) I don't know if my idea was clear enough to understand, but I hope you can understand it a bit. And on the previous note, I changed the setting from "follow all links" to "entire site" and it began working well enough, but it was still skipping a few images from the starting address.

Re: Problem in Downloading Images on this Site
Ok I take back what I said earlier about post numbers in ascension. EPF is essentially doing that but in descending format because of what is posted closer to the latest date. Even so at points in time, EPF will skip a few images in the order (example from 1991111 to 1991110 to 660660) something like that.

OK, new version is ready. Download it here:
http://www.exisoftware.com/picture_find ... rSetup.exe
As for the skipped images. This may happen because of the advertisement this site displays instead of the images making you wait for 10 sec and then click another link to see the actual image...

Re: Problem in Downloading Images on this Site
I'm sort of confuse at the moment. I open up EPF program and then I look under "help" to check for updates. Then it brings me to the download page and a download PictureFinderSetup.exe. I Run that program and follow all its process, but somehow I end up with the same version. Do I uninstall the previous version? I'm afraid that if I do the projects will be lost. It's not much and I can do it over again, but is it need that I uninstall EPF and reinstall it?
