Id say go with whatever is easiest imo
Easiest - Segmented videos would have to be downloaded in its own folders. - Right Click Context menu
Complicated - Add an option in site exploration to use ffmpeg to combine detected segmented video files into mp4, scan folder and m3u8 verify segments match start to finish, notify if missing a segment

Right click context menu seems by far probably the easiest as you can batch the folders by the folder names along with output
