Is it possible to remove the "Created with Extreme Thumbnail Generator" from the gallery index page?

Yes, of course it is possible. Select the gallery template you want to use and click menu item [ Gallery -> Edit template... ] to open the template editor. Select the [ Thumbnails pages ] section and scroll down the HTML text of the page template. There you will see that "Created with Extreme Thumbnail Generator" text and you can simply remove or replace it with any other text. Then save the template and re-generate the gallery.

I simply change mine to: "Created with Extreme Thumbnail Generator by Red Barchetta". Actually, I use my real name.
