Debug mode?

I'm in the middle of running an extremely large and long-running project. I see a ton of URLs flying by and I'm not understanding why no downloads are occurring. Which made me wonder...
Does EPF have a debug mode that could tell me why each URL did or did not get downloaded? This would be great. Being able to see a log entry like "Skipped http://www.horrificwebsite.com/donotgoh ... _image.jpg because of the '.*terrible_image.jpg' exclusion filter" would be great.
