Can this be done?

Hi there.
I've found a few sites that have their user uploaded thumbnails in open directories, for example:
https://silverpic.com/i/00055/?MD

The only links are to the thumbnails, and there's no open directory to full size images (as far as I can tell).

However, I have a Firefox extension called Imagus Mod that finds the full size image when hovering over the thumb link.

So hovering over:
https://silverpic.com/i/00055/w1sw3y3pwdd0_t.jpg
will open the full size picture:
https://silverpic.com/img/uxhlw7wyd4274 ... 20(74).JPG

I'm trying to work out how the extension does this in order to make a template, but it's way above my technical know-how. Is it even possible with EPF?

The extension doesn't actually list that silverpic domain, so I'm assuming it has a generic sieve that makes the GET request, but I haven't found which one.

If it helps, the original Imagus extension isn't maintained, but it is updated regularly by users on this forum:

There are links to the JSON file to update the sieve, and that has all of the image site strings included, but it's all Greek to me.

Can anyone help this OldDog learn a new trick?

Oh, I see. I know this kind of image hosts and I have no idea how to get the full-size image URL from them :( I've downloaded the mod that you mentioned. Maybe I'll find out how it's done in this mod.

Looks like I have some progress. I was able to download the full-size picture from this URL:

Now I'll have to figure out how to incorporate this new knowledge into the software.

It was something I thought about when I was using BID a while ago, but that software doesn't have as many options as EPF when it comes to customising downloads. Yours definitely has more scope, but I don't have the know-how to make it work.

Right-click the above link and select [ Save target as... ] to save the project file. Then double-click the saved project file to add the project to Extreme Picture Finder. Then start the project in the program.
