Smugmug help - Image Quality Selection

Hi Team,
Is there a way to select the required image quality based on the image suffixes as per the following:

Current Smugmug template (v5) seems to be downloading all image types if Original (-O) is not available.

e.g. lamacchiatravel.smugmug.com/Paris-Olympics-2024 (just a random search from sumgmug)

Well, as of right now - you can simply change the [ Target Files ] from

*.jp*

to

*-XL.jp*

to download only XL-sized images, for example. But you have to be sure this size is available for every single image in the gallery. Otherwise - you will miss some.

I guess, the software has to be updated along with the template to make it download only the highest resolution available.

Thanks for details. Yes, download only the highest resolution available is the desired option - which was working previously for any xyz.smugmug.com websites. However, same never worked if there is a custom website based on smugmug, e.g. xyz.abc.com based on smugmug. For this scenario, tool used to download all albums with all quality types.

Will wait for an update with a fix.

OK, the program and the template were updated to address the smugmug.com photo and video quality selection issue. So, you will need the most recent version of the software:

Download Extreme Picture Finder

and the most recent version of the template:

smugmug.com gallery downloader

Please install both, create a new project with the template's new version, and let me know if it works better for you now.
