I am trying to download all the videos associated with a models page on ashemaletube.com but I end up downloading a bunch of additional videos that are not related to the videos tagged with the model.

The model page lists 72 videos (several of which require logging in to view the video) but overnight around 990 videos were downloaded before I stopped the project. Naturally, most of these videos were not related to the model that I was trying to save.

Is there any advice on how to make this work?

I updated the template. Please install the new template version:

You will have to create a new project with the new template version - settings from the new templates are not applied to the existing projects.

Please try the new version and let me know if it works better now.

After creating a new project using the new template the program downloaded 137 videos. The model page shows 72, meaning that 65 videos from some source are still being downloaded.

These videos are also not downloading at the highest resolution, & the names that they are being saved under are a large string of letters & numbers instead of the video title (or something similar). Is there any way to fix that?

Lastly, some videos are marked as 'Private' & can only be viewed by logging in. After giving EPF my login credentials it is still unable to download any of the videos marked as private.

I did confirm, however, that all 57 non-private videos were downloaded (with the resolution & strange naming convention mentioned).

Oh! Private videos! That explains a lot! You never mentioned that before! Usually, pages that are "locked" in free mode break all the [ Excluded Page Parts ] allowing Extreme Picture Finder to crawl other, non-related video pages. I'll need the exact Starting URL you tried to use. Also, send me your login/password to support@exisoftware.com if you want me to try to adjust the template for the private videos.

OK, I guessed correctly - private video pages has a bit different structure, that's why the [ Excluded Page Parts ] did not work on such pages and unwanted addresses were crawled. Also, the videos under the pagination links were not removed correctly but now both issues were fixed (hopefully). Please install the new template version create a new project and let me know if it works as expected now:

Alright, after trying again the downloader is no longer downloading unrelated videos & it does seem to be downloading them at the highest resolution with correct names.

However it is still failing to download private videos (even with login credentials).

Also, when Updating the project it downloads all of the videos a second time instead of just grabbing videos that have not already been downloaded.

I just tried it - created a new project, used only a private video URL as a Starting URL and it worked just fine. Please try creating a new project with a private video address and tell me what will be in your download log.

It's pretty much useless to click the "Update" button on projects where video URLs are re-generated every time you crawl a video page. You can see it in the source of a video page - click the "Refresh" button on the page source and you'll see that all video URLs are new although it's the same video:

First try:
cdn.ashemaletube.com/key=SLENVMr2lt5I-QYEU3htkQ,end=1720611132...

Second try:
cdn.ashemaletube.com/key=gd6LIhMfrL2TMkq80Fnl5w,end=1720611163...

URLs are different, but it's the same video file.

So, Extreme Picture Finder thinks it found a new video every time you click "Update". I'm still trying to figure out a way to prevent this. Any ideas? The only solution I have now is to use the [ Do not download and save if file size is the same ] option in the [ Conflicts ] section. You will end up without the duplicates, but every video will still be re-downloaded every time.
