It block many malicious website.
People without MBAM might get some infection. when they visiting website with malicious
maybe you can consider to block some website ?

It's safe to download with EPF from any website, because EPF doesn't "execute" any content while downloading. Ordinary browsers can execute JavaScript and other active objects on any page, while EPF can not.

Well, if you download and start an executable - then yes, your PC might get infected. But people usually have their anti-virus ready, so most of harmful files will be deleted once the download is finished.

But I read it is on the Exif, so it is Jpeg instead of Exe.
Yes we need antivirus and antimalware for most of the time now

Maxim, may I suggest you to solve the search engine problem by using configuration file update.
So no need to download full installer.
So the software check online that the configuration file is up to date or not? If not just update it silently.

This will reduce the Google, Flickr, ask and other problems, and can be solve much faster
