expedited loading?

I see that Endless Slideshow Screensaver will first scan all the folders for all the files

but I have a library that is 500,000+ images

so takes a while :/

maybe 5+ minutes

is there anyway to hack it to make it just load anything it finds at first and then scan in the back ground?

and it would be nice to have a feature like that in the future

btw I already did
Settings > Slideshow > Shown picture history - checkmark [ X ] "Reset shows pictures history on start-up"

as I have had another alike problem like that - where it would take a very long time to load

because my history file was 134MB big

in

C:\Users\YOUR-USERNAME\AppData\Local\Endless Slideshow Screensaver\history.dat

YES renaming it (removing it)

I renamed it manually but another option for users is to

Settings > Slideshow > Shown picture history - checkmark [ X ] "Reset shows pictures history on start-up"

Yes, there are plans to add the ability to read the picture list once, in the screensaver settings, and then just use it in the slideshow, without re-reading it every time.
