Manual Start Shortcut Key
I haven't used ESSS in some time but have began using it again. I can not remember what the shortcut key(s) are to manually start the screensaver. If you know what they are or where I can find it in the start folder I would be grateful!

Re: Manual Start Shortcut Key
You can start the screensaver manually from Windows Start Menu:

or from desktop shortcut. Both are created during the installation. Plus, you can assign a shortcut key to the desktop shortcut in the shortcut properties (right-click the shortcut and select [ Properties ] in the pop-up menu).

Thanks Maxim. I followed what you said and went into "Properties" and assigned "CTRL+ALT+Down(arrow)" as the shortcut but when I use the key combinations, a pop-up asks me if I want to allow the program to make changes to my computer!!?? It does it every time I try to manually start the screensaver.

This combination is used in Windows to rotate the screen. Please use Crtl+Alt+[LETTER], like
Crtl+Alt+B
Crtl+Alt+B

Two weird things Maxim. I did what you said and changed it to CTRL+ALT+B and got the same pop-up. I then just tried just double clicking on the Desktop Icon and the pop-up happened with that as well!! I thinking I may have to remove and reinstall ESSS.

That's not how it is supposed to work. There must be no pop-ups when you start the screensaver.

Re: Manual Start Shortcut Key
If I let the screensaver "Auto-Start" (after 10 minutes) I don't get the pop-up. It only happens when I try to MANUALLY start the screensaver.

Re: Manual Start Shortcut Key
This has something to do with the Windows, not with the screensaver. Try creating a new shortcut yourself.
