Forum download

Post by BIPOLAR2 »

Hi
I read a previous link where someone had requested help with the settings required to download a forum.
If the offer is still open i would greatly appreciate your help.
i intend to download all images-jpeg etc but my own efforts have failed.
could you please help me with the settings required.
also would the same settings work on other forums or would they have to be changed to suit.
yours in appreciation
Craig

Did you by chance determine a setup that could download from this site. I was attempting the same as the O.P.

Which thread would you like to download?

Ahh, can it only be done on a thread by thread basis?
I didn't try individual threads, just categories

OK, let's take category "Car images". The starting address is:

http://www.dilsedesi.org/forums/index.php?showforum=9

Site exploration type: Regular, Follow all links. Check the "Exploration depth limit" box and set the limit to "2".

Excluded URL filters:

.*

We're going to exclude all URLs to add only those that we need.

Included URL filters:

\?s=\w+\&showtopic=\d+$
\.jpg$

The first filter allows EPF to download threads and the second filter - images.

This is it. You can these settings for any category of this website.
