1. When using the reddit user template, is it possible to name files with this format
[date-posted] [title of post].jpg

2. And is it possible to scan for duplicates when users post multiple times to different places?
When the do this, the images are identical but filenames are different.

Extreme Picture Finder's ability to use page text for any purposes, including file naming, is very limited right now. There are only 2 things in the page text that Extreme Picture Finder can use:

1. Page title (text inside the <title>...</title> tag) only if there are no non-ascii characters, like emoji.
2. Value of an attribute of your choice from the same tag where link to the Target File was found. For example, value of the "alt" attribute of the <img... > tag.

And in case of reddit templates - Extreme Picture Finder doesn't even use any HTML pages - it uses reddit API which is in JSON format. So, currently it's impossible to create file names the way you want them. Sorry.

You'll have to use third-party software for that. Extreme Picture Finder doesn't have its own duplicate finder.

Thanks.

Another one that I don't know if it's an app or reddit template thing.

Everytime I update, the bottom left shows "Downloading.. Processing ## of ### addresses".

And each update run the number of total addresses increases even though there have been no new posts by the user.
So every time it updates, the time to complete becomes increasingly long. This causes a problem because I want to set automatic update runs.

Do you know what may be causing this?
If I "restart", it resets this.

The log shows it's often hitting the starting url (reddit.com/user/xxx) many times over.

Hmmm. This is strange. I just created a couple of projects and updated them several times - everything worked as it should. Can you send me your project file along with the download log file to support@exisoftware.com for investigation?
