I am looking to create a template to download jpgs from this type of URL:

http://images.bloomingdales.com/is/imag ... .tif?scl=1

Currently, I am having to go manually one page at a time but I would like to simply use a program like this, download the images and then sort them out after downloading several at a time. There is only one image per page and they are all the same image size 1200x1500. I have tried and tried but I can't figure this one out...thanks

It's impossible to save JPG files from TIF URLs. You have to save TIF files from TIF URLs. Here is the tutorial showing how to download images from URL list with Extreme Picture Finder:

The only thing you have to do additionally is to check the TIF box when you create your project. So, after pasting your URL list do not click Finish button immediately, click Next > button 2 times to get to the Target files step where you can tell Extreme Picture Finder which files to save by checking corresponding file type boxes.

And if your URLs always point directly to the files you want to save you can simply type

*.*

in the Selected target files field to make Extreme Picture Finder save all file types from your URL list.

I followed your instructions perfectly and each time I come up with zero downloads. I'm using about 10 consecutive URLs that I know have pics on them and after setting up template by your instructions and tweaking ever so slightly for each subsequent attempt, there are zero downloads. I don't imagine that this is that difficult of a project to set up but for some reason, I can't get crud for results...

Please send me the download log of your project to support@exisoftware.com. You can find the log file by opening the project properties, selecting the [ Project file ] section and clicking the [Open download log file folder].
