Rotate pictures using EXIF problem

Post by rwitkamp » 11 Aug 2010, 09:19

I have a strange thing with the screensaver version 1.5. Some of my pictures are showing 90 degrees rotated. This happens only when I've selected 'automatically rotate pictures using EXIF'. The wrong pictures show up fine in any other picture viewer and in the Windows explorer thumbnail view. Any idea what can cause this? I can email you one of the problem images if you want.

Hi Maxim,

Did you manage to find what caused this?

It looks like you have to turn this feature off, since your photos were processed by Windows Photo Gallery program which rotates photos without corresponding modification of EXIT tags. So simply turn the EXIF rotation in the screensaver off.
