Anybody want to give it a try?

Post by BilliousB » 01 Feb 2012, 01:28

Hi,

I've tried everything, I can't download what I need... All I want is the "bigger" images. You know the big format of a item to see it in details!? I've tried a bunch of different combination, but without any luck.

The site in question is : http://www.mosaicmarble.com/
and each item usually have 3 versions. Ex. : LS10-G.jpg (large), LS10-M.jpg (medium) et LS10-P.jpg (small). I would like to get the large .jpg file (*-G.jpg) for all the items on their website!!!!

Is it even possible?
Thanks everyone!

OK, I had to fix EPF a little bit to make it work on this website. I think this fix will help EPF with other websites too. So you'll have to download the most recent version (3.15.0.1) here:

http://www.exisoftware.com/picture_find ... rSetup.exe

And the project settings are:

Starting address: http://www.mosaicmarble.com/
Target files: *-G.jpg
Exploration: Regular site -> Entire site
Excluded URLs:

shopping
checkout
account
affiliate

That's it.

Wow! That's service!

The thing is that only version 3.15.0.0 is available right now... It's says 3.15.0.1 at the download page, but it's says 3.15.0.0 in the "about" menu of the software once installed.

Thanks again, can wait to see if it works! Well... I know it will, just want to see it for myself! ;)

Nope, the site has the latest version. Looks like your browser gave you the cached version of the installation package. Please try downloading the archived installation package here:

I did empty my cache before downloading... Anyway, your last link was pointing to the right thing.

It works! I won't thank you enough for your help! I managed to download 498 images, all -G.jpg's. I was expecting more thought... Downloaded around 1400 -M.jpg's yesterday. I admit I have stopped the progress before the end, cause even if it's was still searching, it was stuck at 498 images for a good hour. Maybe stuck in a loop of some kind... But 498 will do fine.

Thanks again and good luck!

You can add more filters in the "Excluded URLs" section to prevent any loop. Just watch the "Monitor" section at the bottom of the main program window to find out what URLs are being searched.
