Download vk.com albums

Hi Does anyone have an experience of Downloading pictures from albums VK.com ......a friend of mine has lost thier entire photo collection on their machine but has a lot of them uploaded in vk and wants to download them

Hi there!

OK, Extreme Picture Finder was updated to process vk.com albums more effectively. So you have to download and install the updated version:

And here is the template to download all full-size photos from individual album on vk.com:

Simply download and install the above template and you're ready to download. And you can paste several album URLs into one project - photos from different vk albums will be saved into different sub-folders.

One important thing to note: you have to set the simultaneous connections number to "3" or "2". Otherwise the download will stop after 20 or so photos.

Following the instructions I just get the small preview pics. Seems that vk.com made some changes regarding their picture galleries?

Or does anyone have a solution?

I tried different configs with the tool, but always just get the small preview pics downloaded. Not the original full size ones. :(
Maybe you have an idea.

sorry to dig this old thread but the current version (12) of the template downloads only the photos of the mobile version of the website, for example the original photo has 1200X1600px the photo downloaded with extreme picture finder has only 600x800px, so EPF doesn´t download the original picture from vk.com

Yes, that's right. Unfortunately "original-sized" images are unreachable for EPF right now. Only "full-sized" can be downloaded. Sorry.
